Our story
The origin of Drapée
Drapée is a project that has been maturing for several years by two best friends who are passionate about sewing, Mélanie and Marina.
Since the benches of the university where we met, we have always dreamed of creating our own craft business together. We realized that we needed to create daily to be fulfilled and our inextinguishable passion for sewing pushed us to make our common dream come true.
Melanie
Mélanie discovered her passion for sewing after trying out multiple artistic activities. Although she has always loved creating things, it was only at the end of her studies that she truly allowed herself to make her desires come true. With the unwavering support of her friend, she now dares to share her creations and ideas, to highlight a more responsible approach to fashion.
Marina
Marina learned to sew with her aunt when she was little, and since then, her passion has never stopped growing. As a child, she was already creating fashion collections for her dolls. She developed her skills over the years, and her wardrobe filled with ever more elaborate handmade clothes. A user of sheets from the very beginning, she wanted to realize her dream of offering her creations to people who want to combine their attraction to fashion with their values.
